Can I wash wool in a washing machine?
The answer is Yes.
Our garments come with a TOTAL EASY CARE tag.
TOTAL EASY CARE Merino garments are all machine-washable. Even after frequent laundering they retain an 'as new' appearance.
They won't shrink, lose their shape, fade or colour-bleed. They remain soft and comfortable for the life of the garment.
Every Sanzio garment is made with an exclusive Australian Merino wool yarn that stands out for its particular shininess and softness. Zegna Baruffa Lane Borgosesia has also created a special “Machine Washable”, shrink-resist treatment for this yarn, which allows the wool to retain its natural characteristics and makes the garment machine-washable at 40° C in the wool cycle.

Make sure to turn your wool sweater inside out and use a wool detergent to keep its ‘as new’ look and feel for longer.

When drying, avoid direct sunlight, magnified sunlight (close to an outside window) or direct heat.
